Welcome to the Arkansas Otolaryngology Ambulatory Surgery Center
Arkansas Otolaryngology Ambulatory Surgery Center opened in 1975 and was the first free standing surgery center in Arkansas. In 1983 our facility was the first free standing ambulatory surgery center in the state to obtain accreditation by the Joint Commission On Accreditation of Health Care Organizations. Accreditation by JCAHO is considered the gold standard in health care quality. Only a small percentage of outpatient settings have elected to go through this kind of voluntary evaluation of their facility against nationaly accepted standards that can affect quality, safety and patient care. We are one of only a very few ambulatory surgery centers that have had accreditation with JCAHO for 25 years. We are dedicated and committed to providing quality ENT surgical and nursing care. We have maintained this goal for 33 years and performed surgery on over 60,000 patients.
